Genevieve Wilson (she/her) is a theatre Director based in Brooklyn, specializing in new work, plays, and contemporary musicals.
Originally from Melbourne, Australia, she brings a background in music directing, composition, and classical & jazz piano, which informs her collaborative and ensemble-driven process.
She recently directed the Off-Broadway production of Skin: A New Musical by Andrew Strano and Yuriko Shibata. Other work includes the NYC premiere of Bubble Boy, Single Asian Female, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, [title of show], and Are We Okay?
Genevieve is passionate about collaborating with driven and creative artists to tell stories for and about women, amplify authentic queer voices, and explore bold, thought-provoking ideas through music and theatre.
